Print Screen Plus and the Email Primer - Illustrated
I would like to recommend a program that I just discovered
on the Internet the other day. Had I known about this program when
I wrote my "Email Primer - Illustrated", I could have saved
a lot of time. The program is Print Screen Plus and it adds more power
to your print screen key. When you install this program, you get a
built-in graphics editor that will automatically start when you hit
the print screen key. From that editor, you can print the image (with
added text if you like), save the image to various formats for use
in documents or web pages.
One feature that I have found extremely useful is
the ability to crop the image while you are "taking the picture".
Before using Print Screen Plus, I had to paste the image into an editing
program, then do my cropping. Now I am able to crop the image on the
fly. This feature alone saves me some steps that in turn save me time.
You can also set up the options to automatically print
out the image to your printer when you press the key. Finally...the
"Print Screen" key can actually PRINT!!! And with Print
Screen Plus, you can use the [ALT} key and Windows key for even more
options.
If you are a software manual author/illustrator, eBook
author or just a casual user of the Print Screen key, I would highly
recommend that you check out this software. It's one that I use on
a regular basis now when writing my tutorials and software books.
