Northern and Central New Jersey Computer Users "Call for PC Help" to Give Latest Threats a Swift Kick Skyward

CLIFTON, NJ - July 27, 2004 - Wanna send MyDoom to the moon? Is your home or business computer really protected? Is it hacker-proof or has your private information already gotten into malicious hands?

In order to give the latest computer threats a swift kick skyward, northern and central New Jersey computers users "Call for PC Help," a new company that aids area computer users in preventing the every day attacks from viruses, worms, Trojans, spyware, and hackers, keeping their machines running like new.

Hudesman spoke of the latest attack by a new version of the Mydoom worm. "This variant of the Mydoom worm has caused serious problems for the Google, Yahoo!, Lycos, and Altavista search engines. It's attacking tens of thousands PCs by email, looking for email addresses on the host computer's hard drive. It's then looking for more addresses by running queries on these
search engines, causing them to slow down or go temporarily out of service. PC users need to be aware of these increasing problems with worms, viruses, malware, and other threats, and we can help them stay safe.
