To the Moon, MyDoom!
Northern and Central New Jersey Computer Users "Call
for PC Help" to Give Latest Threats a Swift Kick Skyward
CLIFTON, NJ - July 27, 2004 - Wanna send MyDoom to the
moon? Is your home or business computer really protected? Is it hacker-proof
or has your private information already gotten into malicious hands?
In order to give the latest computer threats a swift
kick skyward, northern and central New Jersey computers users "Call
for PC Help," a new company that aids area computer users in
preventing the every day attacks from viruses, worms, Trojans, spyware,
and hackers, keeping their machines running like new.
The company services Windows-based machines for a one-time
charge of $99 per visit per machine, performing a wide variety of
operations, including removing viruses, email worms, and spyware;
securing PCs from hackers; optimizing the system registry; and other
critical system maintenance tasks
that every PC requires on a regular basis. He will also install the
latest anti-virus and firewall software on to computers to help keep
them safe and secure.
With over 10 years of experience, Hudesman provides
on-site computer service and complete software and hardware consulting
for individual and business PC users. He explains the importance of
keeping PCs safe, secure, and properly maintained for increased performance.
Hudesman spoke of the latest attack by a new version
of the Mydoom worm. "This variant of the Mydoom worm has caused
serious problems for the Google, Yahoo!, Lycos, and Altavista search
engines. It's attacking tens of thousands PCs by email, looking for
email addresses on the host computer's hard drive. It's then looking
for more addresses by running queries on these
search engines, causing them to slow down or go temporarily out of
service. PC users need to be aware of these increasing problems with
worms, viruses, malware, and other threats, and we can help them stay
safe. They can do this by not opening unknown email attachments and
performing regular virus scans
of their machines. It's very much like the regular servicing you would
do for your car."
Hudesman also added, "A computer is very much like
your car. It needs routine servicing in order to perform at its best.
From the time you buy your PC and begin using it, it accumulates junk
files and other debris and over time, will begin to slow down. Users
will notice this when they need to call up files, save information,
or open Web pages. They'll start to receive error messages, have the
system hang, or even worse, experience those blue screens when the
system has crashed. We help PC users avoid all of these problems and
more."
Call for PC Help is available to service both home and
business computers. Onsite appointments can be arranged by phoning
973-272-2781 or 516-641-1337 or by emailing the company at sales@callforpchelp.com.
